Can you help me buy or sell a property that isn't on a dirt road?

Absolutely! The name Dirt Road Realty embodies the rural area in which we live. However, we have sold homes all over Fremont, Custer, Pueblo, El Paso and other counties. We will help you with your real estate needs on the dirt road, the paved road, and everywhere in between.

How many years of experience do you have?

I have always been involved in sales of some kind, but I began my real estate career in 2017. Before this, I was a military wife and bought and sold many properties along the way.  The experience of being a real estate client inspires how I conduct business and treat my own clients. I understand the stress of buying and selling property, so I want to help my clients have stress - free experiences. I love helping people find the perfect property and/or home for their needs.

What areas of real estate are you most experienced in?

Of course, rural sales are what we are known for and we love selling properties in the less - traveled areas. But, we have spent time helping veteran and first time buyers with the intricate and often confusing home buying and selling processes. Our experience and commitment give us a leg up with clients who have different real estate needs: those buying second, vacation, and investment properties.

We know that experience counts when people are transacting real estate. Our experience has given us the knowledge, wisdom, and empathy to make any transaction go more smoothly.

What if I have questions but I'm not ready to buy or sell?

Dirt Road Realty has established a culture of being of utmost service; it is ingrained in our blood to help. We offer a completely FREE, no obligation market analysis and home valuations. We can conduct a comparative analysis for court proceedings, and we are here to help people get on the road to buying or selling.

We aren't out looking for the next buck, so if you have questions, call us. We also don't like the badgering sales approach, so you can feel completely comfortable coming to us for help. A phone call with us will never result in a daily/weekly email and we will never harass you about signing a contract.

We also offer a FREE mobile notary service for all documents, real estate related or otherwise.

Can you help me if my new house has mechanical problems?

At Dirt Road Realty, we have built a network of vendors and strong relationships in our community so that we can get the right person to help, especially when you are new to the area and don't know where to turn. Our clients are not just clients and we don't close your home and walk away. At Dirt Road Realty, we stand by our commitment to service.  We are here for you.

What sets you apart from other area realtors?

Our commitment is always to the people we serve: the relationships we make are at the core of all that we do. These relationships are beyond those we have with our clients; they are also with other agents so our transactions run smoothly and our properties are seen. It is important that our clients leave our office knowing that they are our priority and that we are honored to serve them.

We stay current on market trends, spend hours training and educating ourselves about everything real estate, and provide our clients with the best information. We also have an "adapt and overcome" mentality, and feel that there is a solution to any problem...and we WILL find it. We think outside the box, and pride ourselves on a keen ability to "figure it out" when others can't.

Where do I start if I want to buy a house?

First by calling me! I will help you through the entire process, and that includes getting preapproved for a loan, finding a home, signing the paperwork, and conducting the closing. Again, we have a network of lenders and vendors that you'll need along the way. We always have the perfect person in mind for your needs!

Why shouldn't I try to sell my house by myself?

Selling your home yourself seems like the more cost effective way to go and there are many online real estate sites that make it look easy. However, you will not be protected when your buyer has an agent, and there are a lot of things that go on in the background of a sale that sellers may not know or understand.

In the long run, selling your home with a REALTOR® is a safer, and usually a more cost effective choice than trying to go it alone. Our market knowledge, established buyer base, and internet exposure all work in your favor. We will list your home not only on popular platforms like Realtor.com and Zillow.com but also in three MLSs across the state, giving your home maximum exposure.

Can you help me buy or sell a home when I'm out of state?

Yes, we can help you buy or sell a home from out of state! From live video walk - throughs with out of state buyers to stress - free full service to our sellers; we make sure that your needs are taken care of from wherever you are! All of our contracts are electronic, and with technology today, we can be there for you, even if only virtually.

Our systems allow us to overcome any distance! We keep a close eye on your property if you are selling a home while you're out of state, handling any issues that may arise in your absence. For our buyers, we are an extension of you, making sure that your buying process is handled as if you were standing right there with us.

Can I just use Zillow to discover what my property is worth?

Most of us have looked on sites like Zillow.com and Redfin.com to research a property's value. The prices these websites calculate are more accurate than they used to be, but they are not nearly as accurate as the value estimate a REALTOR® can determine.

We know our area and are familiar with the comparable sales. In many cases when we prepare a comparative market analysis, we have actually been inside some or all of the comps or have represented the buyers or sellers. This knowledge is far superior than any data a computer algorithm has to offer.

Additionally, a comparative market analysis is far more comprehensive than a single number on a website. It includes analyses and wisdom that computer algorithms cannot compute.

Finally, a computer does not have relationships in the community. It does not understand the market forces that affect property sales.  It doesn't know neighbors, a community's history, or local information.  We do, and we use this information to get buyers and sellers the best prices for their properties.
