The newly formed Mid-Hudson Classical Guitar Society. Our membership is open to all including professional, student and amateur guitarists as well as people who simply enjoy the music of the classical guitar. All are invited to come meet and socialize with players and listeners of the classical guitar.

MID-HUDSON CLASSICAL GUITAR SOCIETY Presents William Kramer-Harrison Luthier. Mr. Kramer-Harrison will present a lecture demonstration on the history and construction of the modern classical guitar Friday, April 23, 2010 7:30 PM at Morton Memorial Library and Community House 82 Kelly St., Rhinecliff, NY. ADMISSION: FREE TO THE PUBLIC (donation suggested).

From 7:30 to 8:00pm (prior to Mr. Kramer-Harrison’s presentation) we will hold an open stage for guitarists to perform. After his lecture, Mr. Kramer-Harrison will be available to diagnose your guitar. The third part of the evening will be the first MHCGS guitar ensemble "read through" with guidance and music (pieces arranged for 4 or 5 guitars) provided by Gregory Dinger. Guitarists who bring their instruments and a music stand will have the opportunity to play together. BRING YOUR GUITAR!
